Having spent nearly three years as a Lead Developer Relations Engineer and Senior Staff Engineer at MetaMask before joining the Solana Foundation as Head of Education, returning to the @MetaMaskBuild livestream for a joint Solana Foundation x MetaMask live coding session was a true full-circle moment. Alongside the Consensys developer relations team, I coded a live application integrating Solana Pay and human-readable .sol domains from Solana Name Service (SNS) with MetaMask Embedded Wallets.
We walked developers step-by-step through abstracting seed phrases via embedded wallet authentication, resolving .sol handles onchain, and generating instant Solana Pay QR and link transactions, showing how multichain wallet infrastructure and Solana's speed combine to deliver a frictionless consumer payment experience.
