Gui Bibeau

I am a software engineer and technical educator building agentic systems, developer platforms, and the curricula that teach engineers how to use them. My work centers on autonomous agent workflows, Model Context Protocol (MCP) integrations, and context-engineered tooling that let software agents reason over and operate production infrastructure reliably.

At the Solana Foundation, I work as Lead Product Engineer on the Solana Developer Platform, shaping the platform architecture, engineering roadmap, and agent-ready APIs for institutional payments and tokenized assets across partner integrations. Previously, as Head of Education at the Foundation, I built and ran global developer education programs, authoring the open-source Solana developer curriculum and working with universities and international training partners to bring systems engineering and Rust into the classroom.

Before joining the Solana Foundation, I was a Senior Staff Engineer at ConsenSys, where I took MetaMask Portfolio from early foundation to millions of monthly users, grew the platform organization supporting it, and drove internal research on agentic systems. Earlier, I worked with enterprise engineering organizations as a Forward Deployed Engineer at Vercel, and built cloud and application infrastructure at Filevine and Shutterstock.

Selected Work

  • Solana Developer Platform

Platform architecture, engineering execution, and agent-accessible APIs for institutional asset issuance and payments on Solana.

  • Solana Foundation Curriculum

Open-source course structure, instructor guides, and a fifteen-week Anchor systems course taught across university programs and regional developer cohorts.

  • solOS MCP

An execution layer and Model Context Protocol server for LLM agents on Solana, exposing on-demand tool discovery, simulation-first safety gates, and local-key execution across Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor, alongside open-source libraries like use-supabase.

Education & Writing

Teaching has been a constant alongside my engineering work. I co-created and taught Udacity's Blockchain Developer and Full Stack JavaScript Developer Nanodegrees, taught software engineering at Concordia University's coding bootcamp, and run technical workshops for university students and engineering teams worldwide.

I write about agentic systems, context engineering, and software design on this blog, publish technical guides on YouTube, and share university lectures, workshops, and conference talks in the speaking archive.
