On the July 2025 MetaMask Developer Community Call, I joined my former Consensys colleagues Francesco Andreoli and Yashovardhan Agrawal, along with the Solana Name Service team, for a fireside chat celebrating and unpacking native Solana support in MetaMask. Because I had worked closely on MetaMask's web platform and multichain architecture before moving to the Solana Foundation, we were able to bridge both engineering perspectives for the developers tuning in.
We discussed what native Solana account management and transaction signing inside MetaMask unlock for application developers who want to reach millions of existing wallet users without forcing them through fragmented onboarding flows.
